This past weekend was Memorial Day weekend, and we made the looooong drive up to Shane's mother's house. We went from Thursday night until Tuesday morning, it was such a fantastic trip. We enjoyed relaxing and spending time with family including Grandma, Aunt Sherrie, Garrett, and Breanna. The whole weekend was so relaxing and we totally enjoyed it all. On Saturday we went to the Strawberry Festival up there and that was such a blast, except my poor son fell asleep not ten minutes into the trip and missed the whole thing. But there were a ton of booths and lots and lots of fun stuff to look at. On Sunday, I got to run off to a girly movie with my sister in law in the morning then after naps, we headed off to the beach. This is the only actual time I was carrying my camera so I hope you enjoy the pics. The beach was so nice, we went and got the kids some kites since Cheyenne has been begging to go kite flying and it turned out to be a great day to fly them and I think Daddy had more fun than anyone! We love and miss them so much and loved going to see them and cant wait to go back as soon as we can get the energy back up for the trip.
On a side note, we took Rocket and he did so great. He is going to be a great travleer, and pretty much potty trained himself during the trip thanks to my sister-in-law and their dog showing him the way. Love that I am not cleaning up poop and pee all day, THANKS SO MUCH!
